| | The year of the festival for Planet Gold Decor | August 2009 |
| The UK festival scene has noticed Planet Gold and our capability of bringing large spaces alive with décor. WOMAD, Larmer Tree, Glade and Lovebox Festivals have all used Planet Gold in the summer of 2009 to transform their largest tents. The End of the Road Festival have even commissioned us to design and develop a completely new style of décor for their main Big Top this coming September which will subsequently be available for 2010 festivals. |

| | Planet Gold introduce Firewinder to events | April 2009 |
| Firewinder is a revolutionary decorative outdoor light. When the wind blows, Firewinder breathes with it creating an upward spiral in a light breeze and pulsing pillar of light in a strong wind.
The lights rely on wind to generate the power required and it is therefore advised that these lights be installed for a number of weeks to ensure that they catch the wind during the time they are in situ.
They can be used to generate publicity and bring attention to public events in public spaces as they can be installed a number of weeks prior to the event. They also work well as art installations at events that run over a period of days, particularly in exposed sites.
Recently, the National Trust gave permission for Firewinder to be installed around Glastonbury Tor creating a spectacle that could be seen a number of miles away. They will also be found in the green fields of Glastonbury Festival in summer 2009.
If you are interested in a Firewinder installation then please get in touch on 01249 782782. Visit www.firewinder.com for more information this new, exciting product. |

| | Company required to create conservation area | January 2009 |
| The John of Gaunt School, in Trowbridge have a neglected acre of native woodland on the edge of their school grounds. The school would love to transform this area into a conservation area allowing it to be used as an outdoor classroom.
Planet Gold are looking for a local company to take on this project as a team building event. Working with Wildshire Wildlife Trust, we have clearly established the work that needs to be done. We would like to offer a company the opportunity to take 20-40 employees out of the office for a day to help kick-start this project. In return you will bond your team, enhance your corporate social responsibility and lift the local profile of your company. Planet Gold will oversee the running of the day and will provide all necessary materials.
The school plans to link this area into many aspects of education including Design and Business Studies (through the making and selling of bird boxes), IT (incorporating wildlife webcam links), Art (through natural inspiration and with raw materials), and Science (through natural biology).
All in all this is great opportunity that MUST take place this winter before the growing season. Please get in touch on 01249 782782 and speak with Will if you are interested. Alternatively you can e-mail will@planetgoldevents.co.uk for a detailled report on this project.
