| | Amazing new sailing opportunity on Lake Dauben, Switzerland | April 2010 |
| Planet Gold have exclusive access to the highest sailing lake in Europe, at 2200m above sea level.
In 2009, Marco Haenni (founder of ‘Red Carpet’) organised for two Catamarans to be flown by helicopter up into the mountains. The tranquility and beauty of this lake makes it the perfect location to develop and unite any type of group through sailing in a truly unique environment.
The lake is situated by the swiss mountain town of Leuk, a geothermal hotspot, heralded the town of wellbeing. With beautiful accommodation and several natural spa’s and wellness centres, it is the perfect place to recharge.
This is an unforgettable way to experience the mountains in summer and to provide a valuable team incentive event.
If you are interested in using this experience and location to unite a team, then please get in touch for further details and prices.

| | A new, revamped website for Planet Gold Events | February 2010 |
| It’s been three years since we last revamped the website – in this time the company has been involved with many new events and projects.
We have added ‘Adventure Events’ to our repertoire as we want to run more events that involve the great outdoors and genuine excitement. We would like to give our clients genuine life-enhancing experiences and move further away from common-place and bland team building exercises.
‘Natural Events’ have also been given their own section. These events are for companies that genuinely want to put something back into the community and if managed correctly are a fabulous way of lifting your company profile and reputation.
The recession has certainly forced us to reassess our future direction. Corporate business took a nose-dive in late 2008 and this business has been replaced by more events with private individuals and festival work. Who knows what will happen in 2010, the annual calendar is slowly starting to fill so fingers crossed…..

| | The ‘Hunt for the Beast’ game is born | October 2009 |
| The idea of a team building concept that involves participants tracking and capturing a ‘beast’ has finally come to fruition. MMB Associates were the brave guinea pigs that bit the bullet and booked the game to accompany a morning conference.
During lunch, the beast was spotted by guests on the lawn of Hartham Park, Wiltshire. The police and a beast scientist burst into the dining room and called for order and help in capturing this ancient and immortal beast.
Teams were led on a bizarre trail covering three miles of Wiltshire countryside. They threw axes and solved riddles and challenges to learn about the beast and how to capture it. The finale took place in a disused paper mill, where bamboo cages were constructed and filled with bait. The beast was successfully coaxed into the best cage before the rope was pulled and cage door slammed shut to a rapturous applause.
Comments by participants included “the best MMB team day I’ve taken part in to date” and “the event was excellent – it all seemed to work like magic!”.
This game is an off-the-wall alternative to team building challenges and can be tailored to work anywhere in the UK. |
